I had a lady with every chronic disease in the book today who is currently battling covid refuse to get the vaccine, ever, for any reason.

An hour later she was trying to convert me to Christianity even after I made it clear that I knew more about the Bible stories she was trying to tell me about then she did

It's in my job description to make these people feel emotionally supported*. Theoretically they might crash and die at any moment. I seriously doubt any of these omicron patients will. But principles are important.

*Not that it would need to be, I chose this job for a reason

Someone in South Africa kissed a mouse and that’s where omicron came from. Genomic analysis suggests that omicron had been evolving in a rodent population for 18 months before jumping back into humans in early November. Omicron is on a completely different lineage than delta, and both of them have been evolving away from the original virus. If we had decided to change the formula to the vaccines, omicron would be even more evasive of immunity.

Just got an Important Notice from my local safety region: the water and power companies have readied themselves for an omicron explosion, and will be able to provide continued service through the thick of this.


Even if they bite off more than they can chew, I got what it takes, right up to 150 cans of tuna and 70 gallons of water, along with other supplies.

150 cans, I would have gone with deenz at that amount of stocking, taste worse, but has less metalz and about the same price, if you have the money I would have went with salmon, IMO taste better, has less metal and more (good) fats, although if you get smaller tunas like skipjack it has less metals

But if you are like me you want toload tuna up with mayo, but the canola oil is horrible for you, lately I've been trying to just use a tiny bit of mayo and lots of mustard instead

I stocked 8 cans of tuna, 4 salmon, 3 flaked meats, 2 spam, 4 corned beef, 1 full deens, 6 fillets deens and 1 mussles

I've already gone through like a quarter of that, when I start running low I'm going to drop some serious cash,maybe like 20 tuna, 10 salmon, 10 spam, 10 deens, and what ever is on sale

Edit: in 2020 Walmart had the cheapest salmon, Great Value brand or something, I should check that out soon and see if its still cheap

Guy at my work got the covid at the end of October.  Despite being in a managerial position at one of the largest vaccine manufacturers, he was of course unvaxxed.  Shit kicked his ass, he was hospitalized for almost 2 months.  Got an update yesterday, he is not back at work despite recovering due to severe long covid symptoms.  The worst of which, and I an mentioning it here cause I had never heard of this, is major vision loss.  Dude can barely see, and it is probably irreversible.
