The pro-vaxxers have always been the ones getting hurt the most and are the only ones who actually declare people unfriended. Meanwhile those who are pro-choice, pro-omicron (not a joke) we are pretty much baseline chilling at all times, and open to keeping friendships with the pro-vaxxers. Most of us have had covid or omicron already, making our vax status a moot point. Natural immunity is undeniable, youd have to be a hollow flat Earther to still say that natural immunity is an antivax hoax.

This is pure fear porn. It only speculates a worse varient to come, not that a worse varient has been identified. The writer of that article sounds like a booster salesman, calling for the 4th jab..

Ive been pleased to see many officials coming out to suggest waiting on a 4th jab, most now are skeptical about a 4th jab.

French parliament suspended debate on a new COVID-19 law early on Wednesday as opposition lawmakers demanded explanations from President Emmanuel Macron about comments in which he said he wanted to "piss off" unvaccinated people.

With a presidential election looming in April, in which he is expected to run, Macron may have calculated that enough people are now vaccinated — and upset with those who have not been vaccinated — for his comments to go down well with voters....

....In the interview, Macron also said unvaccinated people were "irresponsible" and that he planned to make their lives so complicated that they would end up having a vaccine.

What needs to happen at this point is people need to vaccinate themselves if they're scared. That's it-- COVID is here to stay as the 5th endemic human coronavirus. Disease is nothing new to the planet, and we haven't out evolved death.
Omnicron is the best case outcome for the virus and a group of chimps who don't want to pay 50 billion dollars to vaccinate the whole world (hint: that's us); it is both highly transmissible and much less deadly. Omnicron is essentially a vaccine with a low death rate. People need to make a choice at this point; vaccinate with the vaccine or get omnicron. Mandates make no sense and life goes on.

Also a note on mass testing:  when will it stop? We don't test for the flu, which has 35M to 40M cases annually--- if we did, it would be sensationalized every year and people would live in tribalistic fear like we do today. At one time it made sense, but the end game is endemic coronavirus. I'm offering my opinion here: public daily reporting of COVID19 cases on the news is fear mongering in 2022.

Essentially what I'm saying is we need to conceptualize this coronavirus as the flu. I doubt many of you have fought this much with your loved ones over whether or not they got the flu shot and you wouldn't be upset with your loved ones if they went to a bar during flu season. Don't show up to a home with a newborn or elder if you have the sniffles.

We make explicit cost-benefit analysis all the time, COVID just made it manifestly apparent. I think our attitudes towards one another has changed more than the world has in the last 2 years, and that is very disheartening. I intend to not let that be my M.O.

Likewise.. Several people at my job were out of work for 1 or 2 days after each shot from the "minor side effects" of the mrna vax and then they are telling me it feels almost as bad as the regular flu.  Then this week those same folks are out again very sick all week now with positive tests.  Meanwhile I have not missed a shift since I was sick for a few days in early 2020.  This whole thing is getting pretty old.. I pray it ends well for our country and the world but this is turning into a government over reach issue more then a medical one i am afraid.
