So its plateaued then. If it were still spreading we would have seen that reflected in the data over that time period. You can be certain your not even looking at accurate infection rates on omicron or even delta for that matter. We don't even have tests to test all the folks sick clearly. This has been the same thing the whole pandemic because all the shit came too little to late thanks to a world full of morons. Your looking at a tiny snapshot of the population and extrapolating all this nonsense. Very few people factor in the asymptomatic spread especially early in the pandemic. I said from the beginning there's a huge amount asymptomatic spread thats not even testing out. Funny how it's these people whole job to understand how virus spread in the community but I think they domt have a clue its alway retrospective. We've basically stumbled thru this whole thing blind with them going we don't know what's going on let's be cautious. Funny I thought your whole job was to know what's going on I'm sorry I guess I'm the asshole.

They do random sampling of positive tests. Nothing wrong with that.

It is when they model that data to extrapolate based on their misunderstanding of how virus actually spread. Then you get fudge numbers.

Let’s assume that omicron doesn’t cause deaths. Probably does, but not in any significant way. Deaths in the US have remained steady around 1,200 a day for two months. If delta was being replaced, then deaths would be going down. They are not. What all the data is showing is that delta infection rates have remained fairly steady for the past two months

I thought before these people are traitors for not doing thier bit to protect the country from virus that was potentially cooked up in a Chinese bioweapon factory to weaken or potentially destroy the country. I thought they should all be put against a wall and shot. But then I watched interviews and stuff these people aren't traitors they're just fucking stupid and misguided hyped up on misinformation spread by our adversaries and other snakes in the grass to manipulate stupid people for money and power and what not. :shrug:

What else can we do? You can’t deny services to people. They’re gonna get really big bills they won’t be able to pay. Insurance companies should be increasing premiums on the unvaccinated to offset the costs. No reason the vaccinated should be subsidizing stupid people

Its unamerican socialism that the vaccinated have to pay the healthcare of the unvaccinated. Often the unvaccinated themselves have been outspoken opponents of people getting handouts.
