RW is listed as a cross on the updated list with the correct parents… kinda easy to miss with all those names lol.. damn that’s a lot of names

I am certain there's some variation in ratios of alkaloids comparing strains of cubensis but that would also depend on more than just genetics.

This is rad! I know a cube is a cube as far as consumption goes but for the varieties are really aesthetically pleasing for the grower

My only input is I believe white teacher is GT x PE

Also had never heard of homestead pe before vs the SWPE very interesting

Also DC Mak also has some genetics you might add to this list

Hey! Thank you. Checked it out and it seems to be gt x ape. Made that change. Thanks for the poke in the right direction. Thought it was just a lucy gt

I agree with the notion that a little too much is going into strain hype. Not saying there is nothing to the different varieties but perhaps some are being oversold. I don’t want to cast shade but I think some of these are less of distinct variants and just a group of one variant that produced a range of phenotypes due to ms. However that’s just my opinion. If people know better please share the reasons why. I’m open to hearing them.

I like how RW is referenced as a parent to a cross on this list but isn’t considered a cross on its own. It was for the record AA+ and Colombian Rust Spore.

I love different strains and variants. It makes collecting and breeding so much fun. I have been updating the wrong post and will update the main list right now. There are definitely lots on that list from the exact same crossing that isolated different phenotypes. The TAM project produced a mass of new strains from the TAT Syn group. Most of the tat x melmak crosses come from that same plate. Appreciate having you and your creations on this thread/list. Any more info you may have is welcomed! Things that aren’t on the list like RW was just meant I hadn’t figured it out yet. Thanks again!

At this point it is a list of different variants and strains along with their parent(s).

ESS is PE x KSSS (I'm not sure which lineage of either varieties were used for the cross, but that's what it is)

Just wanted to add that to the list so I could provide something useful instead of saying  :threadmonitor:

Do you know which PE it comes from or who created it? PE is quite a watered down term with lots of strains under its umbrella. I would love to add it to the list.

Would love to see the blob PR.

Years ago I had a pr isolate that would produce PE like dicks with blue veiled chokers that sent you into a different dimensions.

I'm searching for them again.

The PR blob is rad. It is known to throw a combination of crazy reggy phenos that are weird and blob/fins. Such a cool strain.

I’m with you on that.

I joined a Facebook group and kept seeing all these varieties I’ve never heard of, I’m talking like 30+ kinds. So I started digging around and as far as I can tell 90% aren’t really anything new.

These guys are mostly just growing for instance ape, cloning a fruit, and then giving it a new name.

There’s a lot of awesome stuff out there but unless you’re getting clone plates there’s a lot of them that are essentially the same spores under 6-7 names.

I have found PE has been quite flooded with this. I dont mind listing them. But I think a lot are basically the same with slightly different presentations. TAT has a bunch of weirdo isolations but most are quite identifiable.

Anyone feel free to correct me, but to my knowledge there's been very little research on the concentrations of actives in mushrooms beyond rough numbers for distinct species. IIRC fresh P. cubensis (variety unspecified) are about 0.1% by weight psilocybin+psilocin, with all other actives making up an extra 0.01% or so. I'm not aware of any research on variation from individual to individual, or from variety to variety. I'm obviously not counting subjective reports on potency.

I would love to a Cubensis family tree. Would be interesting af.

OP, I requested to join the group on FB.
Here’s the link if anyone else wants to check it out. I’m keen to see what they’re doing in there.

Yeah that's completely my own educated guess. Seeing as with Cannabis strains, although they are plants, have quite a bit of variation of levels of psychoactive compounds.

I realize that's a bit like comparing apples to oranges but the genetics would vary as well in both multispore and pollination.

The ess cross was done by mudafuka on this forum he has since passed away I don't think he ever elaborated on which PE variety/vendor he used.

People are doing live trips on YouTube playing Minecraft? Bastards stole my bit. I've been eating mushrooms and playing Minecraft and never thought to monetize it. Fuck

I've confident Muda was using SWPE for the ESS, homestead/melmac wasn't around then. I feel bad I wasn't able to make much happen with it. They were some potent bastards and didn't blob so it was generally a success. RIP Muda you were a unique monster of a human

Our PE expert says that SWPE came from homestead stock.  Got some info on this for me?
