But seriously, when I see slanderous name calling and "Anti-vaxxers deserve to die", I laugh. Who'd ever think this approach is effective? I suspect this approach damages any logic, data, or rationale a person is trying to convey. BTW anyone hoping the unvaccinated die are hoping a lot of blacks & Hispanics die - their jab numbers really suck!

If covid continues to occupy as many medical resources as it currently does, our society is going to have to do some serious reflection about how the dying truly "deserve" to be treated.


I come from the "remain as neutral as possible and give everyone the benefit of the doubt where doubt is possible" discipline of practice. There are people in the ICU who killed their spouse just prior to hospitalization. As I type. Is the guy deserving of punishment? Probably. But I still try to minimize how painful procedures like IV and wound dressing changes just as much as I would anyone else.

Being a nonjudgmental healer who doesn't take advantage of their ability to amass wealth is the quintessence of Jesus' adult vocation.

I am not comparing myself to Jesus, but I do find it ironic that the people claiming to love Jesus would probably be making YouTube videos claiming he was working for George Soros and/or Bill Gates if he lived in 2021.


Being antivax is stupid and while they are in the hospital they definitely get a forced education in the importance of vaccination. Most are converts. Or dead. Regardless, and frustrating as it may be to those who do the right thing, we collectively "turn the other cheek" and just treat them the same

See it like this:

Love is the Cure.
The Holy Book is the Medicine.
The Priest is the Doctor
The Church is the Hospital
The Faithful are the Patients
Their Illness is a messed up relationship to Love.

So, churches and hospitals are filled mostly with the sick just like institutes of higher learning are primarily filled by those who do not yet know.

Vaccination wasnt even an option then. I assume your aunt fell into the risk group and would have gotten the vaccine herself if it was available.
She would then be totally safe (right?)

Thing is, you're not absolutely safe if you are vaccinated.

If you are vaccinated:

-you are less likely to get Covid
-you are less likely to get severe Covid

You might still get it, in a severe form, the vrisk is just decreased.

If you however are in a risk population, that offsets the decreased risk, which is why HIV+ patients get 3 shots.

I was just using language in a weird way.

A person is a person though, and antivaxers increase the poor outcome for others with the choice they make.

Lest not forget that during the lockdown down in Holland, the antivaxxer Viruswaanzinnigen organized maskless get-togethers in plantsoenen en op parkeerplaatsen om te knuffelen thereby increasing the spread of covid.

Antivaxxers are often antimaskers and people who violate social distancing. I was actually visited by one of them while he had symptomatic covid which he passed off as allergies turned out later and that I didnt get sick was solely because God and I are homies.
