Re: Bubbler System Explained - Pics! [Re: Fd3000]

IME this is a hassle and a waste of money. One can eliminate the bubbler system and the perlite altogether. With that chamber there you can make a couple large casings that will provide their own humidity. Air exchange and some misting is the only thing that will need attention. If someone was concerned about air exchange, I dont think a bubbler system would be sufficient. It is more or less method to boost conditions rather than fully supply them. A humidifier would be something that can supply enough humidity on its own if you wanted to go fully automated. Keep it simple.

>Yes but the whole point was to stop doing those things, or do them much less. Since i installed it, and got a stronger pump i havent fanned/misted once. My 2nd flush went though with the bubbler system only and it was great, few aborts.

>A humidifier is more expensive then this whole system and all it does is control the rH, you still have to fan.

A humidifier primarliy ups the rh but also supplys all the gaseous exchange necessary fd3000.
Sure it`s more expensie but alot less work.
Alos you have soo many bottles and pipes and crap all sooo unessecary.
Just run your pump into a bubble stone in a glass of water.
put some h202 into the glass and viola.
3 less steps for the same thing.

I swear I thought I invented this 5 years ago! Definitely a tec that is underrated! My first shoe box made incredible flushes with huge fruits. My buddies even brought his mono to test it out in my system and his fruits blew up overnight.
