I am going to be out in Denver in July for the SCI/ABB show at Red Rocks and staying for 4 days. Looking for maybe some insight as to other things to take in, enjoy, do in the area while there from someone local.

catch 'em if you can, I promise you won't be disappointed We already had our tickets to the Friday and Saturday shows at Red Rocks then I was on SCI's website the other day and they just announced the location of their "Golden CD" show, which will be Thursday Night at The Fox Theatre in Boulder!!!! If your not familiar with this, they did a Willie Wonka deal with their latest album "Untying The Not", if you got a golden CD, there were only 500 put in circulation then you recieved 2 tickets to this super special intimate show at a yet to be determined location I didn't get a golden CD, however, Willie Wonka didn't have the WWW, there is one on EBAY right now that I am watching this is shaping up to be a purdy amazing trip if all works out well

yeah...the closest is in michigan, thats too far for me to go see them. i saw them 4/12/02, that was a great show.
4/12/2002 UIC Pavilion - Chicago, IL (Fri.) Set 1: Restless Wind, 100 Year Flood > Jam > Parker's Blues, High on a Mountaintop, These Waves, Sing a New Song > Jam? > San Jose? > Ozomatli Rap? > San Jose? > Drums? > San Jose? Set 2: This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody) > Joyful Sound > Jam > ?BAM!, Panama Red, Wake Up, Black and White > Jam > Way Back Home Encore: The Mighty Quinn Guests: ? with Ozomatli horns, percussion, and guitar Notes: Opening Act: Ozomatli
Sing a New Song > Jam? > San Jose? > Ozomatli Rap? > San Jose? > Drums? > San Jose?- that was amazing! they did a lot of nice jams this show. when the ozomatli guy came out rapping, that was great. And san jose kicked ass, great drum solo! i have this show on cd, but my bro took it, i wanna get it to hear it, haven't heard it in awhile. They played a second night in a row but didn't go to that...i think keller williams came out for that, i wish i coulda seen that!

Red Rocks is the greatest venue I've ever been to, just once, for Radiohead...enjoy!

i've heard a lot about it and seen pictures, but i'm sure pictures do the correct justice for it. I wanna see a show there too. My best venue that i've been to is Alpine Valley, that place is really cool too!
And yeah, people should be able to go to Colorado atleast once, it's amazing no matter what you do. Last time i was there me and my family were going on those slides that go down the mountain...it's kinda like bobsledding but you are on little cart things and you just fly down the mountain, that was awesome. I wanna get ripped and do that!

my mom has been wanting me to do an outward bound thing. and i was hesitant to, cause i wanna be around this summer. but i decided on one and shes gonna pay for me to go backpacking in the rocky mountains for 2 weeks. that will be awesome! i'm excited to go. i fly to denver and then the group drives through the mountains to san juan mountain range. And then we backpack for 2 weeks. I'm going august 8-21, or something like that. That will be kick ass. I really wanna bring bud, but i'm sketch about bringing it on a plain. And it probably would be sketch to do when i'm out there, cause it's like a program and ill be with strangers...to check out what outward bound things are go to http://www.outwardboundwilderness.org/. There is a whole bunch of cool stuff, all over the place too. That will be awesome though. I origianlly was gonna do white water rafting+back packing in oregon but the dates that were open interfered with some summer plans...SEEING PHISH! i'm not gonna miss those.
