Ozomatli -- any good?

Worth going to a show? They are gonna be playing at a local theatre here and was wondering if I should check them out. Maui is pretty far off the concert scene and if good bands come around I feel like I should support them here.

Worth it or no???

Yeah man, I'd say go check them out. I saw them once, back in 2000....they (along with Ben Harper) opened up for the Dave Matthews Band at the Vet. I enjoyed them, haven't heard too much else from them though.

Just remember, they may have a strange openeing, so just wait it out!  Open your ears :heart:

I definitely recommend Ozomatli, they put on a great live show. I wouldn't say they are too chill, though. They have a killer horn section and some great latin percussion feel, good dancing music. Go and enjoy!

Pretty decent band. I have seen them a few times. If you have the cash then definetly check them out.
