Early Morning Rant: Definitely * 1

I see people typing "defiantly" all the time instead of "definitely". They definitely mean definitely, not defiantly. How have these people gone through their lives making this mistake? I mean just sound it out, defiantly sounds nothing like definitely. :facepalm:

I see this on facebook a lot, not necessarily on here.

people pronouce words differentely. see that, diff-fer-ent-ely is what some people hear, not diff-fer-ent-ly.
