Reason help....
    #2659372 - 05/10/04 01:56 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

So today my goal is to start learning the inner workings of reason 2.5,  to try and move over here from FL.  So basically  I am wondering, how would one import his vst effects/softsynths to be used in reason?  And if you know of any neat tutorial type sites feel free to link them too  I did a google but what I saw was mostly things to buy, like Tutorial discs and the like.

Thanks for any help!  :darkside:

*edit* ahhh apparently you can't use vst's with it, no wonder I couldn't find that part!

Oh, no, man, I feel weird
I'm trying to get the motherfucking fuck out of here
Before there's flowers here
And sour tears

cu-base and reaktor is the next level tho

I moved from fruityloops to reason too a while ago, enjoy
You can't load VST plugins in reason. but the reason soundbank and orchestra cd have plenty of cool sounds.

tutorials:

http://www.reasonstation.net/ (most tutorials here)

good luck

yeah if you want to use vst's, I would use logic and reason together via rewire. Or you could export wave loops and use them in any arranging software you choose.

the reason files you need to get are refills. Check out Hotline (peer to peer file sharing) for free full versions of refill suites.

When the time is there I will suggest a much greater combination then logic with reason..

U will be stunned.. Logic and reason is nothing compared to the combo I use.

Have fun with reason btw, the start is the best!

I wish i could learn it all over again.. (I can if i have a serious accident maybe)..  :smirk:
