Softsynth Vs. Hardsynth

I have an extensive Collection of Software Synth VST's on my computer that I use in cubase. No matter how much I tweak and compress ect. I just cant get the amount of power and umph out of my sounds that I want. To what I understand is that Hardware synth is way better sound quality and has more power than software Synth. does anyone have any hardware synth that would agree?

Can't you double and layer your sounds in your sequencer? Getting mastering plug-ins help too.

Try amplitube and PSPNitro, they usually seem to succeed in making my samples more kicked.

I have a huge collection of softsynths and a Novation controller.
I also have a Roland Juno106.
I can't get any sounds out of the soft synths that can emulate the Juno, or its control. I really see the synthesizer I have as pretty unique. But, at the same time many of my softsynths (z3ta, absynth, plasticz, dahornet) have drastically different tones than the Juno. I can get them booming, but you have to realize (for both softsynth and hardsynth) that presets do not do them justice. Tweak them to your own tastes, and layer on your effects and mastering effects.
I think the programming is getting better and better for VSTs, but there's of course a few unique synths that will always be classic.

I have Absynth 3, and plasticz and dahornet. I have done a ton of tweaking and added FX's/compression. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Just never comes out to be energetic or powerful as I want it.
I have been programming with MIDI for about 7 years now, so I understand that part fairly well.
The VST "Junglist" is the closest thing I have ever got to the sound I want.
Also Albino 2 is a pretty badass synth.

ive got an Roland V, Korg MS-2000, and a Triton. i also use reason 3, which is pretty bad ass. but as of now, hardware is definately superior in sound quality. who knows what the future holds though, software has gotten sick these last few years.

I have Reason also. IMO Cubase blows it out of the water, but everyone has there comfortability with the GUI, I have Fruity Loops also, to me its just eye candy.
Do you have any downloadable tracks made with hardsynth?
