Rumsfeld did not describe the photos, but U.S. military officials told NBC News that the unreleased images showed U.S. soldiers severely beating an Iraqi prisoner nearly to death, having sex with a female Iraqi female prisoner and ?acting inappropriately with a dead body.? The officials said there was also a videotape, apparently shot by U.S. personnel, showing Iraqi guards raping young boys.

Now that's embedded reporting.

I gotta wonder if the people takng these pictures were in on the abuse, or if they were trying to do something about it.

Are they heroes, or just stupid?

Naw, I think Bush & Co. have already damaged world opinion for a generation or more. Let's get everything out in the open. "The Truth shall set you free."

Dang good thing we never released the photos of Iraqi children with limbs and faces blown off because, "Americans are not really like that." Nope. We are the good guys and we fill our bombs and bullets with just a pinch of Christian love. We will keep showing them "love" until they finally "get it".

yeah those abuse photos are nothing compaired to the pictures of what america has done to the tons of civilians they have so much fun killing women and children, and im guessing a retard or two

A little off topic, but might these Iraqi Prisoner Abuse Scandals hopefully bring some insight to the abuses that go on in our domestic prison systems as well?

i doubt it. it seems to me like most of the focus is on this making more arabs hate us instead of it being a disgusting thing for people to be doing. at least this is how the media is covering it.
too bad though criminals are the most disenfranchised group in the country.
