That would be a FOAFOAF wouldn't it? Anyhoo, yeah they smell but they smell good! And it's not a very strong smell, and you'd have to know it really well to recognize it (ie I wouldn't worry about being discovered or suspected by the smell).

I have a negative ion generator type thing in my cropping area to sort of clean the air and I guess it takes care of any funky smells too because the air smell clean in there, i try to keep the area as clean as possible.

What a primal, delicious smell.They don't reek, no - I was never found out, or even suspected. The mycelium smells worse than the actual mushrooms, too.

I heard someone saying a while back that dogs with big-ass noses can be trained to smell out the little beauties... I don't know if it's true though. Best be aware.

I guess the best way to describe the way a mushroom smell is to smell one yourself. Just slice a mushroom (Does not have to be a magic mushroom just one you bought in a supermarket.)and start smelling, it sould give off a light odor but very nice odor.
