 Do shrooms smell while growing?

Ok...many of my uneducated friends say that mushrooms will stink up the house they're grown in. These are also my friends that said if you drink with shrooms you'll puke blood.
So whats the answer? Do they smell or not?

Yes the have a mild mushroomy smell. They will not stink up your house unless you live in a 10' x 10' house.

dude, smell doesn't matter. Even if they smelled like rotting eggs+raw hamburger meat + shit, they're in, or should be in, an airtight container.
As far as drinking goes:
I only know that, after ingesting a heavy dose of shrooms, and gettin really messed up, I had a beer and smoked a bowl, and I was fine physically. Mentally, I was waaaaaayyyyyyy gone, but that's how I like it

When my friend was growing Cannabis, I could smell the flowers outside of her house when I would drive up. When my friend was growing Mushrooms, I couldn't smell a thing, even when in the same room.
Regarding the puking blood thing, I bet your friends also believe that Santa Clause lives at the north pole, that lsd has rat poison in it, and that pro-wrestling is real.

Well, I intend to keep a small batch in my closet so I may watch over them with great elements of control. Do you think the smell would get strong enough to pose curiousity to my parents as to what odd smell was emerging from my room? Any answers would be apreciated as they are to be moved there soon. Thanks.

No. I have a whole family in my home and thus far nope. Only way I can smell them is if I make a great effort to smell them up close.

Even when I open my terraruim I can't smell them. Olfactory senses don't alert me to a shroomy smell unless I pick one up and put it under my nose.
I would worry more about someone seeing them in your closet. Better make sure they're hidden from the casual observer--they always fuck you over!

yeah, that I am not too worried about. My closet is large and it is quite easy to hide things in, it's where I keep all my "good" stuff, hehe. My parents rarely venture into my room, the only person I am worried about is my sister, she tends to look through/steal my things, rarely in my closet though. Anyways, even if she did find them and tell my parents, in no situation ever would my parents do anything stupid like calling the police. Hell, my dad would be like "i'll be taking those..."

if you are still living in your parents home and are considering growing i would not share that info with anyone, especially if your freinds are that ignorant. not to make generalizations but people who are ignorant tend to do some ignorant and stupid things. suppose one of your uneducated freinds is yapping to somebody he/she knows or your freindship ends with one of these people ends on a sour note? then what?!
your parents can lose their house and your whole family will be homeless.
if you want to grow i would suggest you be much more discreet. and if you share your shrooms with your buddies i would tell them you bought them.
