No, I get tired enough of the voice in my head without wanting to turn the volume up louder for myself.

I like swearing at innanimate objects though, does that count?

Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Yeah that counts. Lots of things in my house are cunts and they know it.

I think sometimes my internal monologues  get stuck so I have to vocalise them. Idk if that's a thing even

I get this when I get a song stuck in my head. Only way to free myself from the cunt is to play it loud.

I expect I'll be talking more out loud as I age. I bust out laughing at the thoughts in my head a lot and that never used to happen when I was young...

Yeah I think this is a more recent thing and itll probably get, not worse because I dont see it as a bad thing, but more regular as I age.

I definitely burst out laughing at things and I'll be like wtf that's hilarious and shit.

How old are you now mate? I kind of have you in my mind at at certain kinda age, wonder how close to reality it is.

All my grandparents used to speak thoughts when I was little, so I reckon it's on the cards for me too.

You spent much time doing meditation type practice in your years?

Go. How old do you reckon?

I don't meditate now but I've been in group sessions doing like relaxation and shit. I should try it again. I used to listen to binaural music which plays different frequencies in each ear and creates a third frequency in your brain which helps you relax or sleep or meditate. Whichever one you're going for.

@psi John's not mad was a BBC documentary made in the 70s or 80s I think. I cant be annoyed to look for the whole documentary but its really good. It's funny but sad at the same time. Theres loads of stuff on YouTube about him now hes older and stuff. Yer dugs goat tits

(Idk if I got the right links, my YouTube is up the left)

I've heard talking to yourself is a way of processing information. Basically you create an information loop where it comes out of your processing centers, goes out of your mouth and into your ears where it gets re-processed, thus reinforcing ideas. Especially useful for people like me who are auditory learners

Calling inanimate objects cunts is done by literally everyone and anyone who says otherwise is a liar

I was gonna go late 40's. You're definitely older than me.

Early 40's?

Yeah, I can relate to that. I definitely talk out loud to sort of process ideas, especially when doing myco stuff, but recently I've been chatting to myself. Not like the shining or anything but just like say going to the fridge and saying stuff like wheres the fucking cheese? Oh yeah I finished it yesterday, I could have got some while I was at the shop earlier ffs.

Not to myself. That's crazy. But I do say most of my thoughts out loud when I'm alone

So by your logic you are speaking to... nothing? How is that less crazy?
