Weed has had a reverse tolerance on me over the years. A tiny .1 of top shelf and I'm good for the night. Don't smoke during the day at all for the most part. I didn't smoke at all for a few years after a decade long run and ever since then I've been super sensitive to THC.

I'm actually glad I've lost my tolerance or I'd be spending way too much at the Weed store. A gram lasts me a Week or more. A big dab would send me into an awkward confused panic :lol:

I don't like dabbing or concentrates except for bubble hash on weed. They always feel dull and lack-luster. Sort of like I'm only getting half the high and I don't want my wife or someone else to see me and it looks like I'm smoking crack or something hardcore. I appreciate full spectrum weed and sometimes even mix flowers to get more chemicals into my lungs.

The best shatter I have ever had was black but not like a tarry black. You could see through a big rock of it almost the size of a palm with a glashlight behind it, and had a hint of very dark green color. That was 95%thc (advertised) but I believe it. It was the strongest shit ever.

Get some good grade wax or oil and see what you think then. There are 1001 different variations and can be fun to explore. An enail would be a good investment imo if you want to keep kickin wax for some time.

I find that the 60$-80 per g is the right stuff. Ive gotten a g for 100 before and that was pretty killer but a bank breaker.conserve that shit. Stay away from anything less than $60 ime.

In Colorado the only thing even close to that expensive is live rosin, which is absolutely outrageous. My buddy made finger hash rosin for me once, and even though his weed wasn't top quality, that was an insanely good dab. You are right that mediocre shatter and wax doesn't even compare to a really stanky weed. For me it came down to cleanliness. Like the last few hits off of a bowl are literally smoking char, you lose so much flavor after the first two hits. Plus if you want to enjoy the flavor you have to keep your bowl super clean which is gross as hell to do.

But that's just me, I know plenty of people who prefer weed.

I had a friend who said the move "dab" came from how harsh hot dabs are, they make you cough so hard you put your face in your elbow and your other arm sorta hangs there.

I have no idea if he made that up but that's what I always think when someone "dabs"

Very likely he is smoking rosin instead of classic bho extract, the older the weed you press the darker the end product comes out. My friend ended up with a rosin press and that is how last years weed looks pressed.

Good quality kief is honestly pretty similar. Not as smooth but the cleanliness of the high and smoothness of the toke is really reminiscent of a dab. That little rush from a high test toke is basically the bread and butter of a dab and you can get it with bubble

Had a friend turn into a recluse after he bought a vape pen, getting thc concentrate from out of state (not legal). Now instead of having a nice toke off a joint at the end of the day or something, he can vape the strongest shit he can, all day, every day, practically anywhere he wants.
Shit kinda starts getting screwy when you concentrate things. Flower instead of oils. Opimum instead of heroin. beer instead of liquor. Uranium ore is just a harmless rock. after a lot of work and extraction, is one of the most powerful forces in the world.
