As a chemist I scoff at this. Scoff I say!

Heroin isn't more concentrated, it's a completely different molecule. Alcohol is just straight up poison no matter how you slice it, I know tons of alcoholics that drink only beer. I used to be one. And Uranium is absolutely not harmless in its original form.

Plus, smoking plant matter is not good for you. Will it kill you? Most likely no. But I would argue that properly made concentrates are also purified

Also sounds like yall do your dab immediately after heating your nail, which yea it is harsh as fuck that way, you're supposed to let in cool 30-55seconds after heating for a proper terp profile and high.

Sorta...but it is not possible to squeeze out just THC.


It's all of the resin/oils from the plant that gets pressed out, all the terpenes, cannabinoids, everything, all of the trichomes are basically squished out into an oil/resin...What comes out is not just THC.


Simply put....Buds or hash or kif is placed in a fine mesh bag/material, and then it is pressed at very high pressures while under some low heat. The intense pressure and mild heat causes the trichomes to rupture.

What comes oozing out is "rosin". The resin/oil of the plant with out any plant matter in the mix. It is absolutely delicious, and one of if not my favorite type of "extract"/concentrate.



This is the basic idea>>>








There are some amazing cannabis extracts out there these days, things have come a looooong way from your typical "BHO"/hash oil...The aroma and flavor that some of these extracts have is divine, unbelievable "clean" flavor....and they actually have a nice high to them too since they're more or less "full spectrum" and not just mostly THC like a lot of the BHO extracts of "yesterday" were like.

Never dabbed but I ate a dab of this and coated a blunt and smoked it and was high for two days.
Made it myself.
Evaporated down a everclear tincture.

Yea the plates are heated, pretty low heat though, around 200f give or take from what I understand.

If you don't want to make your own plates I'm pretty sure there are "kits" out there you can get for the heated plates, like if you already have a press to work with you can buy plates to make the thing into rosin pressing rig.

Pretty simple to make & set up in general though. I've seen some small homemade rosin presses that do the trick nicely.

Ya rosin is nice. I've been making bubble hash and pressing rosin from that and its amazing. My buddy and I got a $500 press and it can press about 10 grams of hash or flower at a time.




I still dab good bho but am kinda snobby I guess. Not as much as alot of people I know though that are crazy into high end dabs. Too much money for me though.

Bruh. Just buy a hair straightener, they are like $20. I've personally witnessed it done and dabbed the end product. It's just extremely inefficient and low production. But the dab you get from it is next level shit. Not sure how it would work with dry flower, I was using essentially wet hash

Honestly the only reason hash was invented was because weed was like 3% THC. Making rosin out of it is by far the best use I've heard for it. Even living in a legal state, it was rare, expensive, and pretty meh
