Have you ever cheated or had an affair?
    #26103475 -

Well, have you?

Let's hear about it. The excitement, the fun, the covertness, and the downfall.

Nope. If you wouldn't want someone cheating on you then you shouldn't cheat on anyone either.

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

My feelings exactly. I know how much it would hurt me if it was done to me so why would I ever do it to someone else?

Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

Years ago i dated a woman, and everything was cool until she told me that she was soon-to-be married (with other man).
So i told her that she had to choose, she didn't, so i started dating another woman.

I told them both and they said to me that i had to choose. So i broke up with her(the almost married one).

I felt like a useless piece of shit and as a clown.

It was and awful situation to everyone involved.

As year passed the new one and me were about to marry and to have a children. Suddently she aborts and tells me that all this time she was cuckolding me.

So. Shitty situation.

I did in the first marriage. My first wife was was a frigid crazy bitch. We had sex about once a month may be every other month. We also slept in separate bedrooms. Anyway I had several affairs. And I have to say it  was fun. My ex wife had 2 large burgundy towels that I was forbidden to use, I used to fuck my favorite side chick on them. It made me very happy to watch my ex wife use them not knowing what I used them for. At the time the sneaking around was fun but what I found was side chicks were normally psycho. I had one that started talking about “us and we” and I had to end it with her. The crazy bitch came to the house, rang the door and drove away. The crazy bitch told me the next time she was going to confront my wife. It was pretty scary but luckily she found somebody else to stalk.

Although the sneaking around was fun and exciting it does get old very quickly. At the end of my marriage my ex wife began to get abusive. I used to sleep with my bedroom door locked. It all ended the night she hit me in the face with a bottle. I threaten to call the police on her. She told if I call the police I would go to jail. About a week later I moved out. What I didn’t  know was my ex found some damning messages on my fb. Until my divorce I didn’t realize how the law was stacked against a man. At the end of the day I lost my ass in the divorce and I had to pay her $32,000 because of all the “fun” I had. In retrospect, I regret what I done and I should divorced her instead of cheating. Now I’m in a great marriage with a wonderful woman. I would never cheat again.

I have an open relationship so it isn't really cheating but I have definitely slept with other people in a non open relationship.

I don't know,  sex isn't the end all be all of my relationship,  we still have it about once a week but that's more at my insistence.  Life is too short spending all your time jacking off. Unless that's your preferred method.

Ideally having sex with a long term relationship couple is what works the best for me,  they have a nice intimate connection to share with you,  they are open and on the same page,  and they are just looking for sex/friendship so no worries about getting too attached.

Cheaters are all cowardly sociopaths who deserve a life of sadness far away from anything resembling love or affection.

If you’ve cheated and come to this thread to brag about it, I hope you fucking read this and I hope you take it to heart.

But then again, there’s no fixing a sociopath.

Im pretty sure a lot of people end up cheating because their partner cheated on them.  Doesn't make it a good thing but also making your sociopath statement a little bit of a stretch.  Guessing you have some unresolved trauma involved with cheating.

Not really, I’ve never cheated on anyone and I have never been cheated on. My wife and I are poly anyways.
I have reason to believe my dad wasn’t 100% faithful to my mother, but that’s rather impossible to prove now.

It’s mostly the fact that this thread was made that I have an issue with.
Cheating is an evil, disgusting act, and I’m rather sook to be honest, finding a thread glorifying it in the middle of the pub.

And that I cheat because I was cheated on thing is such a bullshit straw man argument.
Past trauma is NEVER an excuse for shitty behavior, regardless of the trauma or behavior.
Two wrongs don’t make a right, that’s elementary school shit.
And if anything those people are shittier than the one who cheated first.
To know and feel what it does to a person, then to turn around and inflict that same pain.
Text book sociopath behavior.

I have felt pitty for certain cheating. My dad "cheated" on his wife. They were in different countries and he was feeling hella lonely. He ended up telling his wife over the phone that he had a gf out there and she flipped a shit and filed divorce and my dad was all saddened. He told me all about it and i felt sad too. He continued to date the chick for a few more years and then dumped her for some reason. It's been really hard to speak to him heart to heart since it started

I think that there is a difference between making a mistake and being a cheater.

I was cheated on, i cheated too. I did not cheat again after that and probably, those who cheated me will not cheat again.

Another textbook disorder bejavior is consider others inferior or "shitters" and another is to see things in black and white.

Having said that, this thread is kinda the opposite of what the op initially wanted.

The fact that mainstream media, society, friends, family, and others etc...hold monogamy as the gold standard to ANY AND ALL relationships is part of the reason these threads are made. Total and complete monogamy is not for everyone and shouldn't be held as the most perfect way to be/have a commitment/relationship. Deep down and primal we want to breed as much as possible. Talking about what you want and need before making a commitment is the key to having a better relationship or marriage. I think that if a mate is open enough and secure enough to let another person just have sex with the partner/mate and form no emotional attachment and just enjoy the sex for sex only, then that is actually beneficial. It's very rare to have that open of a mind when we are imprinted from birth to be married, straight, have kids AND be monogamous, that's a lot of pressure!

Especially when your mind and libido looks at another sexy human being and pictures them naked and wonders what it would be like to just fuck and nothing else (I think there's nothing wrong with that, but you'll see the responses). My husband and I have talked about it and decided if it happens then it will be OK as long as everyone involved is comfortable with it and it's talked about beforehand, and out of this state, lol. It's not something we will seek out, but it's not ruled out either. This made me even more attracted to him because he was at least willing to talk bout it and be open to the idea, even if it never transpires.

I've never cheated. Not only is it fucked up and wrong as many other people have pointed out in this thread, but also why cheat when you could involve your significant other instead? You're passing up great opportunities for threesomes and other amazing things in exchange for doing something that's wrong. Just be honest with your significant other.

If you want to fuck someone, why not fuck them together? Then you've turned something bad into a fun activity you're doing together as a couple. Or if you just really can't handle monogamy then just be honest and have an honest open relationship.

As others have said, I'm also disturbed to find a thread trying to glorify cheating in the pub/on the shroomery in general.
