I haven't ever found a brand that doesn't work.

I've read Pasty say he found seeds in the eco earth brand of coir and saw the tubs he loaded with that batch of coir turn green quickly. I've seen seeds in my coir but am not experienced enough yet to say that for sure leads to the problems I experience here and there. Do you use a particular brand often?

I like growt brand. I think it's good stuff.

But those blocks are not 650g more like 575-585g a piece.

Thanks man I'll try that out. How much water have you found gives you good field capacity using those 575-585g bricks?

In the winter and spring I was using 4.8x weight of coir. Now in summer with all the humidity in my area, I found 3.5 to 4 is where I like it.

Good luck
