The ones we get in Melb/Aus are pretty visual, 'subs. I find p.cubenis to be very mild, more like taking ecstacy than mushrooms, but then, im used to the far more potent subs we get around Melb.

A small dose of cubes kicked my ass visually last saturday... MDMA never made the walls all around me expand and consume each other :laugh:. I know what he's talking about though, if i take 2 grams or less there's not much on the visual side but a very nice body high. :mushroom2:

Yes all strains contain the same active ingredients, so i believe that all strains have the same effect.

The biggest contributors to visuals are amount of dosage, and set and setting.

When i first started tripping on acid years ago i found that I could hallucinate by clearing my mind of any thoughts, and relaxing my eyes (kind of like you do for "magic eye" posters). There have been times i was frying balls off of many hits, yet i was at a crowded loud place and my mind wasn't clear and i didn't see much, though i was real fucked up. There have also been times i saw alot, off of just a couple hits of acid, usually this is when i fry alone.

Just opinion, good luck getting visuals!

I agree and think two or three things are coming together.
I think, that first it has much to do about 'knowing' wich strain it is. As I took Amazonians, I realized Aztec patterns - as I took Indians, shive-like hindu-patterns dominated.
That got deeper into the way of thinking and into the whole recognicion and perception of and about my surroundings (I love natives anyway).
The Thais were quite harsh and agressive with their patterns to me.
So its primarely a quite subjective fact, as said.
But then, on a material level, I could think, the shroomie-genetics (compund-constelation) or on a spiritual level, energy-patterns have conserved something from their native-area, too, which influences your 'journey' in that way :wink:
Just theoretical. So, explore your minds ! :crazyeyes:
