Don't feel too bad. I wasted like $1000 on useless shit before I figured it all out. Now it costs me about $2 a dry pound.

I got a kit from this company when I started out, total fail. The instructions are a complete joke, the equipment is cheap and way over priced. Have to agree with everyone that that money could have gone a lot further spent differently.

That being said, you've bought it now so you have to work with it.

1. The spawn they send you is about the only thing of value. It will contain 2 2quart jars or rye grain spawn fully colonized.

2. Do not I repeat DO NOT follow the microwave and boil instructions for your straw, read up on "proper pasteurization" straw can be a good substrate but can more difficult for people without experiance to work with as it is more prone to contaminate.

3. Forget about whatever "grow chamber" they send you. Go out and buy 2  31-35liter totes from Walmart (I got mine from Rona). Make sure they are clear with a clear lid. These can be a bit hard to find so shop around.

4. Consider using coir/verm/gypsum as a substrate instead of the straw they send you. You will have a higher chance of success (properly pasteurized) of course. I get mine from pet smart (3 pack for 8 bucks)

5. Use 1 2quart jar per 31-35litre tote (kinda like a mini monotub)

6. Read up about monotubs, how to make them, how they work, how to dial them in ect. (this site has lots of info, use the search function)

7. Forget about using that casing soil they give you along with the magic casing starter mix. Cubes don't need to be cased, and for your first time they don't to be if your using a monotub.


That is the setup I used when I first started, however I just ordered the spawn with nothing else. I even ordered again and used it to make grain to grain transfers.

I bought the mini kit and I had 12 amazing monsters grow out of it and hundreds of pins that seem to have stalled.
I've read and re-read the instructions and I think I need to be patient with it and mist more.

From what I've read, if you've followed the instructions, now it's a waiting game.
I could be wrong. It's my first kit and I'm learning as I go.

I recently just joined this site, Late November 2018 and I see is shit lmao, please edit the post because this site doesn’t receive money from that site so we can’t give ppl information on that site? Fuck this whole forum lmao Instagram has been much more helpful and I hate it 😂 This is a joke thought maybe this platform would be similar to some of the ico platforms that are more about user rights and fuck censorship for a bunch of mushroom eaters I find it funny how enclosed your platform is compared to steem it or even discord chats. Just a joke lol. One of biggest laughs was seeing the sporetrader page comments how they closed the forum cause “this is not a marketplace” lmfao this hole plstform is sensored by sponsors like Facebook can’t see myself ever posting here again for info by the way I am running this same kit with great results so far!!! Funny how they make you take out the name of where you got it even though that’s general info for others to avoid high priced shipping but oh well this forum is dead and I can see why.

Nice rant in a 4 year old thread... Agree, if you can't even read dates, or understand why places that sell spores (especially ones that can be cultivated into actives), do not want to be sited all over the net that someone is doing something illegal with their spores for microscopy only... this place isn't for you... Go to your social media applications cry, whine and have fun with your kits...

I’ve learned a little from shroomery won’t lie, but compared to YouTube videos and some of the mushroom growers I follow who stand on the front lines for a plant that is right. Again this forums dead I tried to post to get a little info but wasn’t mush feedback, since then I have learned to use my first flush to make my own prints 🥳👍🙂🙏🧬🍄 from a cannabis growers perspective mycology is fascinating the way it can be clones is truly amazing. I love breeding and I didn’t mean to bash the forum to the fullest, I just don’t believe in censorship and I do believe in standing on the frontlines for something that is right, only reason cannabis had chance was because so many on the frontlines.

Please don’t take affect I have take. A lot of information from shroomery, just find it hard for me to give back being That I’m not into microscopy and I’m not tunna try to bullshit this forum like I am.

Bought two of these kits and failed miserably both times. I followed the instructions to a tee. Now i make shoeboxes with all my info from this site and are having good luck and now have more shrooms than i know what to do with.I have bought many different kinds of cube spores and have a fantastic collection of dries mushrooms ready to consume .Mushrooms are all i think about now!!

This forum is hardly dead, there are hundreds of posts made here daily, we have an army of people who make great contributions here daily. Not sure what you’re talking about. Also YouTube is full of retards who will teach you bad procedure and give incorrect reasons as to why proper procedure is followed.

i had a low yield first flush from said canadian supplier for a mega grow kit. i'm not sure a second flush will even come up.

this was/is my first experience with magic mushrooms at all.

i did a dried weight 4gr lemon tek tea for my very first experience, and nothing happened. so i quickly did 3gr lemon tek tea. i had a mild pleasant experience, not explosive visuals, subtle.

i'm wanting to use them therapeutically and spiritually for deep growth and lifting depression.

i've had several grandmother aya experiences previously. magic mushrooms seem to be more available, and to grow them one's self is a bonus.

how do i contact you about your products?
