Hey fellow hunters, was out for a small stroll today and found these two types of mushrooms the brown one was growing on the side of a dead gum tree, tones of leaves and dead debre near by, the others in a bark bed, has a really nice color to it.

Ah yeah was just holding out hope to see if the orange one was a Gym, but oh well ill keep looking :P. Thanks very much

Even if it was a gyn I don't think It would of done anything for you. I'm pretty sure all the gyms in nz apart from purpuratus aren't active. Not sure about that tho and I've always wondered if any ones actually tested this.
