Erm I'm unfamiliar with Malaysian species, however, I would not eat that in any country unless I had a deathwish.

It's got potential. Was it growing in dung? Is is bruising blue when pinched? Can you make a spore print?

Saw the orange tones on the stem and immediately jumped to conclusions. It very well could be a cube, but I would wait on bruising and spore print first.

Some kind of blue in there when i broke the stem off to make spore print.

This was not clearly growing from dung, one was in just in grass, although there is for sure lots of dung in the area.

Another two were found also not clearly in dung, as above. A patch of fertile grass/dirt, that looked like the locals might have burnt there some time ago.

Nice, as Anglerfish says they're cubes. Trusted identifiers can be trusted. Keep an eye out for Pan cyans as well.

Awesome!
I'm pretty stoked to find these after casually looking while on strolls, and scooter rides. Must have spent no more than 1hr looking.
Knowing stuff all about what i'm doing, i like to think it is ment to be, led to them.

Thank you friends.

I had the same feeling when I found my first subs (P. subaeruginosa). I'd been listening to Bill Hicks about mushrooms, did a bit of research, and started keeping an eye out for them until they turned up in front of a work site I was attending. It made things a lot easier when I did start going in looking for them.

Wild stab in the dark (as was the first go!) but i saw this guy on the side of the road out on a scooter ride. Since you mention it, thought i'd check one more time please and thank you kind people.

Growing in short grass, dung in the area, for sure there would have been dung there once, but this was not growing directly out of any recent dung.

Bruising, maybe a greenish blue, or just dark, not really sure.

Stem shrivelled to dark purple real quick.

South Sumatra btw.

Woohoo!
Thanks.
On a roll i guess. Absolutely new to this, good fun.

The Pan Cyan shrivelled so small!

I have no scales, cant get, so have to guess it.
I have an extremely low tolerance to pot, so i'm keen to wade in in think.

ive done some reading on guessing dosage, the Pan Cyan would be waaaay under 1gram im thinking so should'nt loose my shit there?

And the Cubes, one is decent size, the other two small, maybe the big one is near a gram dried...?
And the small ones less..
idk, off topic sorry,  just sayin..

Quite a few of these around this morning after rain last night, growing in dung.
Just took a few minutes looking around my feet where i happened to be standing to find these.
