So I talked to my partner. She flat out refuses to entertain that not having animal products in her diet could possibly be causing her illness.

I'm going to take her to the doctor (for the millionth time) and get the "12 vegan blood tests" and see what shows up. I don't believe they've done that before.

It's like watching someone you love kill themselves with drugs.  :sad:

At least she's willing to go to a doctor and get some tests done to potentially determine if it is her eating habits.

Hopefully that's all it is, just a few changes in the diet.

I was gonna suggest fasting for a while, chewing on fat is like eating animal products, see if symptoms improve, fasting is the ultimate keto diet

If you look at this critically you might see the same as I did, that eating a balanced diet plan for most people (type O) is logical and will improve your health. But being any blood type in the list and eating any of the diet plans will improve your health, because you're not eating loads of junk food and shit and are getting the nutrients you need. Humans are very versatile, as long as the nutrition is there and too much bad stuff isn't we will be healthy.

You ever heard of the carnivore diet? Jordan Peterson has been talking about it a bit cuz after just putting up with certain health patterns of unease forever he tried just cutting out everything Except meat and never felt better. His daughter some some condition where she has to be extremely selective with food, and for instance greens actually trigger depression episodes for her, along with severe cramps/etc. For her its like a dominant chunk of what might be thought of as normal food, but point being that theres no reason someone (your gurl) who may have been predisposed to some sort of condition already where some foods just turn into spoonfulls of NOPE, couldnt have brought about a syndrome brought about by.. like you said.. a consistent intake of Certain vegan noms.. and a clear deficiency in others.

If she isnt't willing to entertain the idea of basically trying out different approaches/foods/treatments, until she at least knows whats going on, then this is for sure no different than religious extremism. Essentially the willingness to throw rational problem solving capacity out the window in exchange for blind faith reinforced solely by perpetual ignorance. Characteristics of a healthy lifestyle choice these aren't.

In simple terms of biological magnification - there are health benefits to eating lower level producer organisms vs higher level consumers - especially predators i.e. tuna; which have gone through enough levels of the 'food chain' that they've accumulated significantly higher levels of toxins.

Fish are the classic example of this - but it occurs in any organism which consumes others. For instance cows often have accumulations of pesticides and perfluoroalkyl acids... etc.

So as a base scientific fact - not only does your meat take generally 10x the land, water & resources to produce vs the energy gained...

you're more or less guaranteed to accumulate up to 10x-100x more toxins by eating meat, depending on its place in the foodchain  :sorry:  :boo:  :goodluck:  :tryingnottodie:  :specialralph:

More for me. :shrug: I'm pretty much a carnivore when I have my choice.. currently i don't get to eat a lot of meat and there's very little I actually enjoy. I'm only eating to keep going. I can't wait till I'm back at my own place.

im pretty much carnivore, I eat a pound of ground beef with cheese melted in and a couple apples on 72's except when I fuck up, like yesterday someone bought donuts and rice krispy squares and I pigged out on them in the morning, i had like 3 donuts and 2 squares, I tried eating my beef but couldnt finish it because I filled up on junk :frown:
