ID request Victoria Australia

Posting for a friend who has no account, I have never hunted mushrooms this water logged or in this environment so I cant say for sure either way, any help much appreciated.

Habitat:
In mud / silt at the edge of a partially dried dam bed, surrounded by natives, ucalyptus etc. Tullamarine Victoria.

Gills:
Milky tea to dark brown.

Stem:
3-4cm in length, 3-5mm, off white bruised somewhat orange,
very water logged, stringy, small hollow in centre

Cap:
2-4cm, caramel brown, water logged

Spore print color:
Purple brown

Bruising:
No bruising whatsoever.

Other information:
Smells like subaeruginosa, growing in mud / silt in the basic of a partially dried dam.

Me neither something weird about them but they do have the distinct scent and the right spore prints.

I don’t think they’re Psilocybe, I don’t see any bluing. I suggest Deconica.

Can you suggest a species inside the genus? Deconica coprophila? They don't look like I would expect though this is an area and biome I am totally unfamiliar with.

the fact the most of the stems are completely orange/ brown would be a good indicator that there not subs.
as far as i know stems are ment to be white, bruising blue with stains of grey and black with age.
