Looks like all the guns used for this mass murder were purchased legally. Im not even sure if that makes me feel better or worst about the whole event. I cannot decide.

Thank God it was a disgruntled worker in his 40's.  Thought someone was shooting up the beach as they took so long to let the details out.  Rest in Peace 12, waste of life and the 13th who was the shooter.  He doesn't count. 

Humanity is interesting.  Everyone wants explanations for everything everyone does from the government down to the lower classes.  His motives, did he leave a letter in his apartment or home?  Who gives a shit.  He killed a lot of co-workers.  Guess there was a lot more going on in his life then just job unhappiness and those one is around everyday for a long time. 

I never get with humanity why one takes out one's frustration on innocent people just to express emotions to that extreme.  Animals don't do it.  Only humans. 

Gun control laws that are sensible, say the Dems.  Lol, it is America.  Abortion doesn't surprise me how it is turning out.  Guns, I would be shocked.  What does it take to take innocent life?  To snuff it out?  Don't know and that is a good thing.  That level of consciousness that just causes so much suffering to the dead that want to live and all those that care about them.  Simple really, I don't get it.

Rain Fire.  No.  The Vegas being there soon again still makes this look like nothing.  Beck is indoors.  Still matters though.  Think things will change in 2020 in America.

God.  Guns are the least of your problems in Australia.  And I love the Aussies.  They showed the map of the world and drought and what is going to shit and Australia was the worst of the world.

At least you have some decent gun laws though.  May your culture never die out.  I find Aussies and New Zealanders interesting people.  Very straight forward.:shrug:

Apparently it’s gun free in the sense that hospitals and government facilities are gun free  but if surrounding it in all directions it is a very heavily armed state it makes sense.  I still don’t believe more gun control than is needed. I just believe that no one should be able to have extended magazines or stockpile bullets.  We are ignoring what’s happening now in favor of what may happen if a tyrannical government came about which by the way we would definitely lose even if we had it extended mags and all the bullets in the world.  Also I do believe that there should be a limit especially on the assault rifles.

Also the NRA shouldn’t have sued Florida for passing a law raising the age to buy an AR 15 from 18 to 21  saying that it was affectively an infringement on the second amendment which is complete bullshit.  Think of how stupid either eat who are our people around you were at age 18 and how mentally unstable some people became now imagine them with complete access to air 15‘s as much  extended magazines and bullets as their heart desires.  There are compromises that can be made but whenever someone suggests putting discussion on the table they immediately saying that someone is trying to take their guns away but you couldn’t be further from the truth in some cases.  Talking about gun legislation doesn’t necessarily have to be about the guns themselves.

Like I said I think the biggest divide is people on the right  saying that anyone should have the ability to stockpile these weapons and ammunition in case of a military governmental Tyrany  which is much less present and likely scenario then mass shootings are.

Also recently I have noticed that if one Democratic figure says something ridiculous like they want to take all guns away then the right starts spinning that by saying all the Democrats in our nation want to take away your guns which sounds like a much more serious threat . That is until you realize that you’re being deceived.  I don’t watch Fox or CNN for these reasons in fact I’ve barely relied on  major news outlets as of recently unless there is collaborative verifiable proof about something . Otherwise I consider it an opinion piece  and with Fox and CNN fear mongering.

what does tyranny look like? Pretty much the ability of the police to kill people without any repercussions. We already have a bit of that and the “we need our guns cause tyranny” crowd doesnt seem to have much of a problem with it.

Gun control. IE regulating who can buy weapons, where they are purchased and how much they can buy. Background checks, psych evaluations and restrictions on when you can buy and how much ammo. Stuff like that.

It was just using the absurdity of it and yes it was against the law.  So was Karesh and his compound in Waco way back when. 

Just with bump stocks, legal, like the guy in Vegas, and AR-15's legal, military type weaponry, that is my point.  America should tighten the laws on what types of guns one owns IMO.  It is not a huge debate and not complicated.

It seems you believe differently.  Whatever.  Really doesn't matter a whole lot to me as I don't make the laws and am just a peasant writing on a laptop on the Shroomery in America with no real power to change anything.:shrug:

It proves people will and can manufacture guns regardless of the legality. They will also sell guns illegally.  The black market will always fill the void.
