It seems that psilocybin mushrooms fall under the category of " Other Schedule I & II drugs " Regardless of the amount, and excluding death or serious injury (which I assume is the case in this instance) then it looks like the poor guy could be facing up to 20 years, which means he could get anything less than that, unless of course there's a mandatory minimum but that doesn't appear to be the case. anyway here's the website: http://administration.adelphi.edu/hr/policies/drugs.shtml
