It seems that the cultivation side attracts the DIY type, some of whom are skilled and coach-able, and some aren't in the least, but dont know that. Today, the "do it yourself" attitude in life will earn you alot of attaboys, by folks who dont have the gumption to change their own oil. These people would call a plumber before plunging, and watch a "how to start a lawnmower" video long before attempting to use their own brain. Times change, and people change, our culture is killing critical thinking, and as a result, the few that show a speck of original thought are praised. with enough of these hollow attaboys, its tempting to think you're set apart, that you are and can do anything better than what has been done. This is only exacerbated with any kind of technical training, schooling, or occupation. "they dont know what I know, I can do it better, I've got this secret ace in the hole ". If you're new to this hobby or any for that matter you mustn't act or speak on your grandiose ideas until you have graduated from novice. You will find great resistance when you try to short cut success. The path to success here is laid out in front of you six ways till sunday... to ask "how to" doesn't mean you're dumb, it means you don't know but to ask a "how to" question that implies you're trying to shortcut the tried and true methods, arrogantly implies you think the tried and true methods to high yields are flawed...(now youre an idiot) This isnt a matter of my way or the highway, its more like, a lost kid asking for directions, then disagreeing with you on which way is north, all the while he holds his map upside down. With this attitude you will not find the answers your looking for, only unending opposition, deservedly so. The crux of it is that they're too ignorant to know how little they know. When they're told, no this way is north, they dont give up on their arrogant delusions they lash out and then ask the same question else where.

I always had a vision for the shroomery to be the top drug website where people who are "one of us" go to in order to learn and conversate. I want it to become a little mainstream to the point of someone like..Joe rogan. I want the shroomery to be as well known as rogans podcast. I think that is a good goal. I want each person to be more defined. Each person their own legend on here. Each person being more of themselves so that when they die, they will always live on here. I want this site to be the place that immortalizes the true psychonauts and the ones who know how to grow and extract. I want this place to be the place where you get fame for going into deep hyperspace

If you get away from the notion that this place should have a naturally occuring userbase and into the shameless promotion for numbers then...... Marketing is the way.

I am on the fence about where i sit....but i would wear something that subtly hinted the shroomery....itd be a kick to meet people by that sort of "code".

There are a few people who wear ty die here these days but ill always say hello when i see it...

Has anybody got any feedback about the store and why its down?

My membership expired way back and still seems to function without renewal...

Everytime i see someone ask the question all I hear is crickets.

Not the end of the world but i can imagine itd be slowing the roll of the site.

It gets asked a lot.  Admins probably tired of repeating the same thing when you can just scroll down WAF and see the other posts on it. :wink:

No credit card merchant will work with the shroomery because it promotes drug use.  Until they find one that will it will be down.
