First grow need some help

Hello everyone

Points:

- fully colonised and left 1 weeks to consolidate
- placed in fruiting conditions on 11/05
- pins appeared after 10/13 days
- placed in SGFC on 25/05 as it clearly did not like the grow kit bag.
- blue colour is visible but Q Tip test comes up clean, which would indicate bruising and not contamination.

- my friend understands now that grow kits are not good and will do the second grow from scratch.

- What do you guys think, does this look ok?

- My friend understands it's been a long time since this has been put into fruiting conditions and the substrate is dry but there are very nice pins appearing now and doesn't want to disturb them.
- My friend is very contentious of contamination as does not want to eat the fruit and get significantly ill.

Mist those cakes, they look bone dry..but otherwise okay. You want to mist then 1-2 times per day until they glisten

My friend thinks it's difficult to make the cakes glisten with moisture but not spray  directly on the cakes itself. Also if there's water on the fruit isn't that how bacterial blotch sets in?
Trying to balance all these is kind of confusing at first ^•^

Mist your cakes directly with a fine mist..misting the walls of the chamber has never been the correct procedure. Sitting water on fruits isn't a problem as long as you have a correctly designed tub as it will evaporate quickly enough

My friend harvested the mushrooms as the Vails broke and just wanted to check if these look ok?
Also smell, my friend thinks that the smell from the philosybin is almost perfumy. Is this normal ? Is it aslo earthy.

Looking great..Make sure you get them in the dehydrator if you aren't consuming straight away

They look perfectly fine to me, a few might have gotten a bit too much water though I think, particularly the one in picture 8. It’s a delicate balance and can be tough to find the right spot between too moist and too dry but you seem well on your way to getting there. Keep up the great work!
