ID request please - middle TN

Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.

In a front lawn

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Darkish Browñ

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Real thin and flimsy about 2 inches long

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Largest cap was maybe the size of a quarter but I accidentally stepped on it


Spore print color:
Very important!
I had trouble telling If it was black or brown. I took it from a tiny mushroom
That popped up in the exact same spot after heavy rains this past weekend. I picked these probably on Wednesday or Thursday of last week

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

I can’t really say, I can check on the new patch tomorrow.

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

I’m new to this and would love to be able to ID a wide arrange of mushrooms that are psycho active as well as others that are just edible.

I'm no expert, but I'd say that's a Panaeolus sp. If it was any of the active variety I think the spore print would be a pretty unmistakable jet black. If it was brownish that leads me to believe it is Pan Foe. Definitely wait for a TI, though.

Panaeolus, and not one I am familiar with.  Check microscopic features and ITS sequences.
