ID request - Canberra Australia May 2019

Hi All,

Still a noob (1st season; 2nd post), so help please...

Found some interesting mushrooms with Sub-like morphology, but no blueing, very dark brown caps which did not lighten on drying and gave brown spores.  Can anyone identify them, please. 

Habitat:
Pine forest near Canberra, in leaf litter


Gills:
Brown,  don't appear to be attached, or very adnexed

Stem:
~ 5cm, ~0.5cm, white, smoothish, no ring, quite solid

Cap:
Diameter = 2 -3 cm; color = very dark brown; texture = quite dry; shape = conical to spherical with blunt umbo,

Spore print: Brown (see attached have included a print from a presumed Sub for comparison)

Bruising: no sign of blue that I could see (am a tad "colour challenged", which obviously isn't ideal :-|)

Other information:
Grown in tight clusters

They look like some type of Cortinarius Spp.
