Drowning agar

hey guys, I have a question about my petri dishes.
some of them have become condensed and as i have already done the transfer of mycelium onto all of my new petri dishes (of which some are condensed), will they be a problem for my agar or mycelium?

I'm a noob but I can answer this one. Hot coffee mug (filled with hot water)
on top will release the condensation. It will be fine.

If you mean condensation, there fine its normal and nothing to worry about, just stack them n itll help get rid of it or a cup of warm water on top for a few minutes dont pour it lol just place the cup on it like you would a table

woww thanks , i found nothing about this anywhere , thats a great help really. i was worried i'd have to throw them away cuz i read on some posts that condensed petri's should be thrown away

Lol, yeah really.

Use saran wrap. I cut the roll in to 1 inch mini rolls. Two wraps around the edge and done.

i use it to avoid contams , I Micropore tape the petri and then put the tinfoil over it
