ID Request Sydney AU - Cubensis Confirmation

Hey folks,

Was wondering if anyone could confirm these are cubes. Popped up in the garden - I suspect from a spent cake disposed in the same area.

Bruised blackish blue as per the photos.

Didn't take a print, but the caps of the smaller ones have darkish purple spores on top from the taller ones.

They almost look like Psilocybe ovoideocystdiata or P. stuntzii to me. But in Sydney? Doesn't add up. :shrug:

Please keep them for further analysis and study.

Sorry, they'd already gone into the dehydrator before you mentioned that.

I'll have to keep my eye out for more in the same spot for next time.

I still think they may have sprouted from a previously disposed cubensis cake.

Good thing drying them, just keep the dried ones.

So you found them where you tossed your own spent cakes? That would make sense.
They just didn't immediately remind me of cubes, the habitat looking unusual.
