If the US/EU want more third world migrants flooding into their homelands, then we will end up having a third world standard of living for the native middle class.

You're right. The left is naive on this specific subject.

Western countries operate on rampant consumerism and most people on our suffering planet are doomed if masses of third world migrants demand the same standard of living as spoiled western natives.

I can't blame third world migrants, they're in majority all about surviving as comfortable as possible and to do this one needs to stay current.
