Nice and "artistic" pics that only we'd appreciate * 6

Every now and then I see something truly beautiful and I realize it's only beautiful to me because of my love of cultivating magic. I keep thinking, I should grab the camera and get a really nice shot of that.  More often than not I opt for a quick shot with my phone instead but sometimes they come out nice enough. So, a thread just for us myco nerds seemed in order.

I just finished up pouring 1500 cc's of agar. As I sat back I noticed how the light, agar, curvature of dishes, and filter were interacting and thought it was quite nice.  I think with a little light, my nice
Camera and a little editing this could be a rather amazing photo



Any one else out there ever let out their inner nerd on some odd yet beautiful myco related shit?

This last one wasn’t good but it still made me laugh.  I do know what you mean, I do find some images very beautiful, like your stacks of plates (love love the one in your signature). I just don’t think to take pictures.....but I will now :smile:
