“I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

The latest bizarre development in the case.

I have no idea what is happening here, but I bet the people who have been slobbering over it will be very sure they do.

Imo this just goes to show that black people receive an unfair amount of leniency with the police.

Black people should potentially be the most outraged from this outcome.

Why get upset over Jussie being an innocent victim of a hate crime?

I guess the two African brothers are now facing felony hate crime assault charges, right?

It’s possible to NOT put anyone in jail, that’s the cool part of the discretion of the justice system.

So you're cool with Jussie being a victim of a racial and homophobic physical assault and the perpetrators not being charged with a crime?

Doesn't that encourage other potential perpetrators to do the same thing since there's apparently no penalty for those acts?

Jussie deserves JUSTICE!!!  :crankey:

The police had the check and video of them buying the rope, how is he a victim?

Are you suggesting the Chicago Justice System is corrupt and Jussie really staged this attack?  That would be stunning news!!!

I'm just waiting for those African brothers to get arrested and charged, should I hold my breath?

No I think Jussie is a dumbass for undermining the real struggle of oppressed peoples and he should be punished. But the city of Chicago decided to drop criminal charges partly because Jussie is rich, but more importantly they didn’t want to incite anymore racial animus. That’s just my guess though, they had plenty of evidence to charge and convict him if they wanted to, from what I’ve seen.

Are you implying either of those would be valid reasons for not treating it like they'd treat any other case like this though? Look on YouTube at the comments sections under videos about this. This may incite even more racial animus.

The rope was for doing triceps push-downs in the gym. :yesnod:

The bleach was for disinfecting the bench before doing presses.

There’s more to this story. Not only have the charges been dropped, his arrest record has been expunged.

If I had to guess I would say the two brothers actually attacked Smollett. It wasn’t a conspiracy, it was an actual attack.
