Bottom fruiting

Does anybody know what a problem might be with my cakes? They’re only fruiting at the bottom and there’s no fruits on the upper side of the cake. Temperature is pretty stable, +19-21°C and I moisture the container 3-4 times a day. And was that necessary to roll the cakes in vermiculite before placing them into terrarium?

Bottom fruiting occurs when the microclimate at the bottom of the cake is good and the top/sides of cake is poor. The reason is essentially because you didn't roll your cakes in verm. Rolling in verm allows the surface to remain moist when you mist. The bottom of cake is more moist and triggers pinning.

I'd say after this flush dunk for like 12 hours and roll in verm.
