These are were he found them:

first he found them at Kmart, but turns out they had shoulders, so he took them back, but the big k does carry them. (they didnt have wide mouths, but who knows!)

Second he went to Walmart, they two had them, but stated that they were phasing them out, and they only had pints, not half pints. My friend has read that it is best to start with halves as they tend to have a less chance of failure. Bummer.

Finally he went to his local "super grocery" store. He found what he was looking for.

His advice:

Never rely on the opinion of one person while asking, almost everyone looked at him like he was dumb when he asked, but he kept asking, and kept looking, and eventually he was able to find them in most of the stores (larger super stores as mentioned above) in all of them. They werent what he was looking for as you can see but he did find them!
