Being an adult means acknowledging that life is temporary. I think when you get to a point in life where you know just how fragile things really are, you gain the freedom to stop worrying about the petty judgements of less evolved people. You gain the freedom to be yourself and do what you feel is right. Worrying what other people think is childish. Looking for permission all the time is a hallmark sign of a childs mind.

I don't know bout that part. 'Being adult' seems to me to be about planning for the future and being responsoble and taking care of other people not just thinkling of yurself. Etc

being an adult is stupid. we have put ourselves in a metaphorical cage($). instead of greed we could easily choose create a utopia.....yeah adults are the biggest fools of all. I refuse to ever be one.

if you think you could create a utopia ("easily" no less) if only you were put in charge then you really arent a child so congrats, mission accomplished.

When you're an adult climbing trees and playing on the playground is inappropriate if you're doing that instead of taking care of your family or self. If you're off work and all your responsibilities are done then do whatever you want. Most adults would probably rather have sexy time, do hobbies, or go to dinner/concerts rather then to climb a tree.

AND there's the matter of breaking a limb (on ones body, lol) and having to get time off work, may not heal as quickly, insurance payment, maybe can't take care of a kid as well, mate, friend, or relative. It could be a very serious break, maybe a head injury, brain injury, then maybe completely incapacitated and have to rely on work comp the rest of ones life, chronic pain issues and on and on....I won't go skiing now due to the people I have seen fucked up in the clinic by just skiing. I won't get on a skateboard again either. I still ride my bicycle, but only on the bike trails. There's a few people who have permanent injuries from getting hit by cars while riding a bicycle. I am kid in the joke around acting kind of way, lol.

Very True. I quit skateboarding around 20 years old because I almost shattered my jaw and had no insurance or savings or people to help me so if I got hurt I would be homeless too. Wasn't worth it.

I take risks with my dirt bike now, but I'm older and have a savings account and back-up plan if I get hurt.

Just remember, a permanent injury or spinal cord injury could result in quadriplegia, don't get too risky there lopho.

Yes. 40. Once you hit 40 you should quit most drugs. Weeds and alcohol with an occasional mush or lsd trip is fine. If you're 42 going on a K  binge while bumping MDMA..
