Mycelium mold or bacteria?

Hey guys under your recommendations Ive started playing with agar...

so to make a long story short i didnt really have all the supplies i needed but went ahead and made it work with what i did have...

i took a tissue sample from a cluster of fruits and placed it into my agar jar. 1/4 pint with PDA (i mixed in some nutritional yeast also because i read that it was good for it? i dunno lol). a few days later it grew something all over the tissue sample (some looks like mycelium and some looked different, probably contam). i purchased premade agar dishes from amazon and i selected what i thought looked like good growth from my original tissue sample and placed it on the new agar dish which after a day or so is also showing growth.


id just like to know what im growing here lmao im not even sure what healthy mycelium should look like on agar... is it too soon to tell? i have some LC and spore solution both on agar and the look vastly different (both look healthy though, just different) from the tissue sample. is this because the tissue sample is a clone and not showing all the other mycelium colonies?

Too soon.  Show me that in a week or so.  Looks good but I can’t see shit.

If you hold it up to the light, myc will show transparent little tentacles reaching out into fresh agar,

Im new to agar as well but you cold say Im a expert mold/bacteria cultivator haha!
Im sorry to say but that looks like bacteria to me for sure.:frown:

its 100% definitely bacteria. lol.

i looked at it under my jewelers loupe and it has some really weird things going in in there. 

last night i took another small wedge from that tissue sample as i could clearly see actual mycelium on the agar (and also the bacteria where i thought it was mycelium lol) so i took some of that and i just checked under my loupe that it is in fact mycelium so in a few days when its bigger ill post a pic for an actual confirmation.
