CheerS, i take my time with things, cased out with promix bx and verm, grew out spores on agar and took a bunch of isolates, grew them out, waiting to see what we get, i'm growing out in brf, bran, nutrional yeast and verm, then casing, straight off of agar, also have some put in lager trays to bulk that are almost ready to fruit,

Will do, I just figured out how to upload, lol, I've only ever worked outdoor and grain on straw befor, i'm experimenting with spores on agar work isolating based on quality but growing everything out on differnt brf mixes in mini tubs and casing, doing a in tub soak, have a tub set up with birthed and rolled cakes that are coming along, find the cased ones developed much quicker, also have a batch from a multi spore LC, and 3 others from agar isolates grown out into LC, I must say, the b+ as they say does colonize quickly, but takes its time to consolidate, it was hangin on the edge for a while then just popped, got good spores apparently from a vendor I've used in the past, real clean, did up 20 plates, 16 jars and an LC and only had one contamination plate and two that grew out weak, still put the weak ones to tub and are pinning fine so far.

Cheers, yeah, got some brusing going on, I'm not used to working like this (cakes and trays) my substrate was really dry after casing, having trouble getting straw and grain at the moment, figured I'd experiment a bit.

Bruising, matting, and pooling... WBS and coir only FTW... Been using oats lately, but bird seed is pretty widely available: as is coir

Coir and something was going to be the next batch, WBS is on sale at the moment, I'll give it a whirl!

I like WBS, and it's fairly easy... But I think I'm in love with oats. Though WBS seems to leap off faster, the growth on the oats seems so much cleaner and organized... alot of it depends on the prep and the culture though, I've seen pretty WBS spawn too, but not as consistently with oats
