First flushes can be a little squirrelly. After this flush, clear it all off and mist it down heavy. The second flush will prob be more uniform.

This was from multi-spore innoculation, right?

You probably have an uneven casing layer. Eventually the mycelium will cover the whole thing, so by your second flush it should be even--somewhat.

Ohh on the multi spore. The casing is made from crumbled cakes. Reg BRF cakes cased.

New casing layer?? Not necessarily. It's a judgement call. Just don't let it dry out and the next flush should come in a few days. Sounds like you're learning the ropes w/ casing. Pay close attention and you'll gain much knowledge & confidence for future projects. If you're human, you mostly have to learn through experience.

Believe in yourself, keep an open mind and enjoy a spirited sense of adventure.
