Usually at home when it's cold outside. In the summertime I like to outdoors. Me and my girlfriend wull be going fir silence and total darkness sometime soon too, just to try. Imagine the dose will have to be bigger then, before im impressed enough to keep lying down. I just eat them. Tried the tea too but I feel you just lose a lot of the good stuff not eating everything. But that may just be how my mind works and less fact:)

It's definitely just your head: tea is much more intense at the same dose: comes on faster but is also shorter lived

Nice work Buckethead. You're now officially a mushroom grower :dancer: No turnin' back now. :mushroom2: I microdose on a regular basis as well. I have on and off for a few years now. I don't actually weigh microdoses, I just take a small mushroom stem most nights right before bed. Helps with lucid dreaming and intense vivid dreams as well as just generally being on a higher vibration and better mood. The last couple nights I took like a full gram or more as I was going to bed. Makes for like a short minor trip as you're going to sleep. If you already get hypnagogia before going to sleep only a small amount of mushrooms will massively intensify that.

For a legit dose I always do a bare minimum of 5 dried grams. My last dose was about a month ago of 9.1 grams ground to dust, absorbed in hot lemon water for an hour or so with a splash of honey and chugged down all at once. It hits hard and fast that way. More often than not though I will do a quarter ounce or 7 grams.

A dose that doesn't take you to another dimension is such a let down. Other than possibly feeling a little rough the next day, there's really no such thing as too large a dose.... at least not for an experienced psychonaut. For the inexperienced 3 or 4 grams is often just superficial visuals - sometimes intense for a short amount of time. Every time I do mushrooms after having been a long time it's like .... ahh shit now I remember what I've been missing. How have I been neglecting the mushroom for this long???

I call lower doses surface tripping... if I don't question my safety or sanity, it's a let down (usually)... I've had a couple super intense trips that didn't place me at the window of my soul lol

Haha, yeah it's always difficult to know what to expect as well. I've probably had 150 massive mushroom trips over the years and none of them ever resemble each other. No matter how many times I do this, I'm always like... I was not expecting that! lol. By now I don't know what makes me think I should know what to expect.

I'm guessing you're both right. Years back I had this massive trip on paneolus cyanescens Hawaii. That one was life changingly intense and all the other trips after that one have been less impressive, let alone visually. The reason why we're now learning to grow is because of this. The goal is to grow those after we master cubensis (enough) first to give it a go.
