I think Democrats are better characterized as disingenuous, than stupid.

I guess I should correct myself though, Democrats did spend loads of money on fighter jet development, and foreign wars during Obama's presidency. They are not fiscally responsible. They are almost as bad.

2 sides of the same coin.  One or both of the majors needs to wither away and die, already.  It happens every so often.  We're due.

It could happen, though I doubt it would be replaced with anything remotely reasonable. I think, at this point, both parties need to be reborn. It has already begun. We are in an adjustment period. I hope that eventually we have two parties that are both the better for it.

I think we need more than just two parties, that's a major part of the problem in the US. Everything is so black and white, there's many other perspectives that get zero attention.

If we had more than two parties in our system, I think it would pave the way for some real fringe crazies to get a footing in Washington, and congress would grind to a halt. Our system is really designed to be a 2 party system.

Its not so simple as just having more options.

It would force coalition blocs if thats what you mean.  I don't see that as an inherently bad thing.  We already have fringe loonies in the government.  It would just force them to properly label themselves instead of using the D or R as cover

The electoral college enforces the two party system. You can’t win an election without winning a majority. A plurality doesn’t cut it

I get that feeling as well, and I would hazard a guess that every western world leader is hoping the same.
Just finished reading a New York Times article on his latest 4hr Tweet tirade, attacking Jim Matis, Brett McGurk, the Federal Reserve, declaring Saudi Arabia will finance the rebuilding of Syria... he’s unhinged and his knee jerk policy on the run approach is sending even more jitters around the globe.

Trumps border wall failure is just reconfirming to me that he is completely and utterly inept at everything. There's a reason he always says he's the best at everything. It's because he's not even remotely good at anything. It's amusing as fuck watching him derail his own presidency but at the same time I kind of feel bad for all the Americans who didn't vote for Donald Jackass Trump

I can't see him not running in 2020. To not do so would admit defeat, something his ego can't handle, and the only reason he hasn't been indicted right now is because he's the president and has a platform to garner public support.

I feel worst for any families who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and now have to endure watching
him butcher the hard won gains around the world.

@krypto2000 yeah I take that point but politics clearly isn’t Trumps game, at all.
His self proclaimed superiority and belligerent ‘instant fix’ mentality just isn’t working for him in office
