punched in the face by a random stranger for (seemingly) no reason * 2

today i was at the corner store buying lightbulbs in a pretty ghetto area. as i was heading to the door on my way out i heard someone from behind me say "why you walkin funny" and i wasn't sure if they were talking to me or not but i turned my head to look as i was opening up the door to leave and accidentally walked into this young lady who was trying to come inside.

i said "excuse me" and proceeded to leave the store and the same guy from inside the store shouted to me "SAY EXCUSE ME BITCH". i started walking down the street and i could hear him stomping up behind me. he put his hand around my neck and started to choke me, then i turned around and he sucker punched me in the face. someone from the other side of the road shouted "what the fuck is going on?!" and then he ran away

i have no idea what happened or why that happened. has this ever happened to anyone?

There are a lot of fucked people around.  Just strait up fucked.

That's why I don't venture downtown much.  Folks that don't even know good drugs and do a lot of shaddy drugs.  Half of their drugs is just strait poison so their brains are fucked.

Good drugs don't have all the poison.

Gotta not let people get up behind you.  That’s why I don’t go downtown anymore, my days of that shit are past.  Just count your blessings, learn your lessons and carry on.  Or you could track him down and bust a cap through his grey matter but then you would have 100’s of people picking on you.

Damn OP that’s fucked up.  For awhile people were playing the “knockout” game where they would walk up to random strangerd and punch them in the face.  The goal was to knock them out in one punch.  There are tons of vids online.  Old men, soccer moms.  Didn’t matter.  Some people are just fucking assholes :shrug:

I feel you Envix one time when I was 13 or something I got sucker punched by a drunk old man because he thought I called him an asshole (I asked him if he was okay lol).  Shit sucks but it happens to the best of us sometimes

When these things happen I always comfort myself with the thought that if he’d do something like that to me, who he has no clue who I am, then he’ll hopefully be willing to do it to someone who is willing to shoot him in the face..:heart:
