You stretch them over board? they just seem really thin in the picture.

hey  funky. Its just the pics that make em look thin. The bars are actually 2 inches square, so they're pretty thick. I've never painted on board, but I should try soon.

Todcasil, of course you'll be in there. I cant forget you.

Thanks YouEnjoyMyself, I do so appreciate a complement

yeah I can see that. My canvass is very toothy. Its hard to get a solid stroke usually. I like that though, I scrub the paint in. I like to lay many colors down somewhat randomly then work them in together, almost sculpting the forms. If you look at my work half way through a painting, you'd think I had no idea what I was doing. The first two or three hours are a mess. Then suddenly a half hour later I pull it all togeather. Its certainly no traditional way of doing things, but it is my own technique and I love it for this reason.

You've definitely got something right. They kick ass!

It makes it more personal when you use your own method. I hate having guide lines. Too mechanical. I like to use board and canvas, even ply-wood depending on the pic.

I sent a few pics. I hope that you get them. I'm no computer wizz.

How about mine, did you get them? Enough detail??

I'd love to be included, wouldn't mind purchasing the end result either if they're affordable!

hey paderas. got your pics, and you will be soon up in the line of works. As far as purchasing goes, they shouldnt be too expensive. At least not compared to gallery prices. The only nip in the ass might be the shipping costs, it can be harsh.

If anyone is interested in purchasing works, either PM or email me and we can work something out. I cant sell any of these for about a year unfortunately, due to the fact thats when the show will be. I'll let everyone know whats going on with that as things move forward. Perhaps some of you can even make it to the show. That would be awesome.

Those works are fantastic!  Honestly the BEST photo to canvas translation I have EVER seen.
BeeJay- keep doing what you're doing man, you are doing it all right.  From your idea that inspired this line of works, to every brushstroke that lets that idea live.
Great Artwork is in your blood friend, pursue and realize your ideas and your works will LIVE.
Thank you beejay.
