7 > 8 but 8 > 10 and you can get an activated copy for like $10. Microsoft offers the software for free and you can get keys on ebay. I know 7 is starting to have software compatibility issues so 8 might too, but I like 8 more than 10. I reformatted an old laptop recently  with 8 and have been happy with the results.

I like Win 8 but i didnt like how the "Apps" screen was seperated from the Desktop. It felt more like a tablet than a PC OS.

But overall, it was pretty cool. Just didnt like the segregation of the two menus/Desktop.

I think i see what youre talking about now.

Ever since I installed the latest update, its being running like crap. Browser crashing, app hang ups, slow/laggy. Its that damn update! Before the update, it ran flawless. Now it runa pretty shitty. Why Microsoft why!

I was UTFSE to see if there was any posts on tiling windows manager, because I just installed dwm and want to make a post on it, then this thread I made came up, and I noticed this comment that got ignored
