It seems like you'd sacrifice something g if you didn't have the grain be left, or it was ritualized. Eating meat and adding meat to a diet that is based on vegetables and grains can be very beneficial. Needlessly wasting animals is not the alternative though.

It seems like more work. The way they did it wasn't to my Liking. The process they used. It's a lot more work to catch chickens and cut their heads off than it is to just grow some stuff.

I've butchered cows, pigs, chicken, squirrel, deer, rabbit, snails, all fish, sharks, and a few others I can't remember.

It never get's easy spilling the guts of a living being.

I'd kill a chicken if I really had to. I can I know how, if I needed to I could and would. If I needed the fertilizer to grow food, you better bet I would.
