Shake it like a baby.

Redistributes the colonized grains and test for bad recovery.

Imo ignore people who say it weakens the colony.

Maybe this is important info:

I got my syringes mixed up and one was envy, the other was Columbia.  I did six bags as well and they seem to be way further along.  Massaged them all good this morning.

If the myc doesn't recover and keep colonizing after 24-48hrs, you can assume it's jacked.

just going MS syringe to grains?
if so, go ahead and get into some agar. plenty of recipes and teks for the practice around here. will help reduce risk of some unwanted things from getting in.. and it's just plain fun...

:whathesaid: I ben doing a bit of “I’m so certain” comparisons and shaking a jar every 12 hours since day one and it’s the first to reach birthing... once I seen positive growth I shook it gave it 12 shook again and by day 6 it was 100% passed the others even with my shaking(well let’s call it a soft rollin motion)

I usually give mine a few days to recover, like 3, but if 12 hours works for u

I try my best to mimic wild settings wind,animals,rain disturbance ect they disturb but at best roll stuff around. I’ve never seen a shroom patch benefit from an earthquake shaking the hell out of it lol

the bottom of the jar looks like myc but the top area kinda looks like mold. the morphology seems off:shrug:

Oh.  Nah it’s just the pic I think.  I thought it was a pretty sweet spawn actually.  I think it’s just the variety. It’s my first envy.  Thanks for the help guys.

Update : same jar after shaking 32 hours later.  Seems like it’s doing great.  The other two jars are doing well too.

Those grains are just dry and it doenst have enough moisture or something's up for sure I mean something is up that doesn't look right to me
