San Francisco. Today.

Habitat:
In a very popular and professionally maintained area. Wood chips and mulch.

Gills:
Attached, brown.

Stem:
Color is chalky, but not pure white. It looked much chalkier before I picked them.

Cap:
Wavy -- varied in size.

Spore print color:
I'm working on it right now.

Bruising:
The stem doesn't seem to bruise any color.

I went back to that spot today and picked most of what was there -- making sure to leave the little guys for future generations.

Here's the full haul.

My question now is, do I wash these guys off before I start to fan dry? Or just wipe off the larger dirt chunks and not worry about it.

Don't wash mushrooms. That goes for edibles and psychoactives. A brush to get the dirt off is good.

Hey guys -- The 2x validation is fantastic. And I'm sure many of you can relate to this experience:

Can someone with 1k+ posts give me a validation? Or request X type of pictures so there's no risk of amatoxins.

Warmly,
TH

All of them are P.cyanescens that I can see. If there's any that don't bruise Blue, or that you're unsure of then throw them away.

Don't rely on someone with 1k+ posts. We have Trusted Identifiers in this forum. There's a badge below their avatar.
